Rigoberto Paredes Ayllón studied Law at the Bolivian Catholic University. He was competitively selected as a Fulbright Scholar and earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree
from the State University of New York, specializing in Litigation Techniques with an emphasis on Corporate Law. He later completed a second Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management at E.E.N. in Madrid, Spain, earning the title of Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.). Additionally, he obtained a specialization in Criminal Law from the University of Havana.
Throughout his distinguished career as a lawyer and legal consultant, he has provided legal services to prominent public and private institutions, including: Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos, CHACO S.A., the National Intellectual Property Service (SENAPI), Mammoet, Centros Comerciales de Bolivia SRL, Microsoft, the Public Ministry, the Ministry of Justice, Avianca, the Export-Import Bank of the United States, Grossman Laboratories, CHECCHI, USAID, among many others. It is also worth noting his role as a legal expert in high-profile cases, including his representation of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in significant international arbitration proceedings.
Finally, in the academic field, Rigoberto Paredes has served as a professor in Master’s programs and postgraduate diplomas in Litigation and Business Law at the most prestigious universities in Bolivia.
